Alright, so it appears that my unit is a Lanyu eBook LY-EB01. This was confirmed by using the password "ZTK" to enter the unit's update menu (Press F1 at bootup as directed).
I was then presented with the following options
1.Format Nand disk
2.Format XIP disk
3.Format Flash2 disk
4.Update XIP
5.Update Eboot
6.Reboot
ESC.Exit
Waitting for press key
Haven't fooled around with any of these settings yet. Kind of afraid I'll kill the unit before I have more time to play with it.

I have a problem with my Ly-Eb01 that it doest boot. Is there a way to restore its default settings? I have WinCe 5 installed if thats of any help. Thanks Chris
